Remove the bolts (23).

Uncouple the steering mechanism.

3. Refitting

N.B. : Always fit new Nylstop nuts.

Couple the steering mechanism.

Refit the bolts (23); Tighten to 11 ± 1,4 daN.m.

Fit the protector ( 16) (new).

Refit :

• The low pressure pipe ( 20)
• The high pressure pipe (19)
• The thermal protector (22)
• The nuts (21); Tighten to 0,6 ± 0,17 daN.m

Couple up :

• The high pressure pipe union ( 18); Tighten to 5,5 ± 0,7 daN.m
• The low pressure pipe union (17); Tighten to 6,3 ± 0,8 daN.m

Position the front subframe and steering mechanism assembly on the body.

Refit :

• The bolts (14); Tighten to 29 ± 1 daN.m
• The bolts (15); Tighten to 29 ± 1 daN.m

Engage the torque reaction rod ( 13) on the front subframe.

Refit bolt (12); Tighten to 29 ± 8 daN.m.
