3. Cleaning

Attach the cutting wire [1d] to the awl [1b].

Pass the cutting wire [1d] inside the vehicle.

Leave a sufficient length to permit fixing of the handles [1e].

Install the handles [1e] at each end of the cutting wire [1d].

Position : The double articulated suction pads [6].

Two people are required to perform the following operation.

Cut the sealing adhesive ( as "b").

N.B. : At the slightest resistance of the wire while cutting, slacken it and assist it in passing the obstacle (Suppor shims, excessive thickness of the bead of adhesive or join between panels).

Remove : The side panel glass (2); Using the double hinged suction cups [6].

3. Cleaning

3.1. Preparation : Side panel glass

Re-using the side panel glass :

• Fit the electric knife [2] with the blade [3]
• Remove the adhesive sealing bead
• Remove any dust using a clean cloth
• Only apply the primer to the zones laid bare

Fitting new side panel fixed glass :

• Degrease the edge of the glass with the degreaser
• Apply the glass primer provided in the bonding kit part number "A3"

N.B. : Only apply the primer to the zones laid bare.
