Fitting A : Left-hand drive.

Fitting B : Right-hand drive.

Remove bolts (13).

Disengage and push the lower part of the steering column upwards (at "b").

View from underneath showing front subframe, torque reaction rod (16), mounting bolts (14, 17) and a central bolt (15). Arrows indicate upward movement of the subframe.

Remove the bolt (15).

Move aside the torque reaction rod (16) from the front subframe.

Position a lifting tool to retain the front sub-frame.

Remove :

  • The bolts (14)
  • The bolts (17)
  • The front subframe and steering mechanism assembly
