3. Refitting

Remove :

• The bolts (11)
• The bolts (13)
• The bolts (12)

Remove the front subframe.

3. Refitting

N.B. : Always fit new Nylstop nuts.

Position the front subframe on the bodyshell.

Refit :

• The bolts (13); Tighten to 29 ± 1 daN.m
• The bolts (11); Tighten to 29 ± 1 daN.m
• The bolts (12); Tighten to 11 ± 1,4 daN.m
• The steering mechanism thermal protector
• The bolts (10); Tighten to 0,6 ± 0,17 daN.m

Engage the torque reaction rod (9) on the front subframe.

Refit bolt (8); Tighten to 13,5 ± 0,4 daN.m.

Position the hub carrier ball joint (on each side).

Refit (on each side) :

• The 3 bolts (4); Tighten to 11,5 ± 0,4 daN.m
• The silentblock (7)
• The washer (6)
• The nut (5)

Couple up the steering ball-joint (2) (on each side).

Refit the nut (1); Tighten to 8 ± 0,7 daN.m (on each side).

Fit the wheels.

Return the vehicle to its wheels.

Tighten (on each side) :

• The nut (3) to 5,6 ± 0,5 daN.m
• The nut (5) to 5,6 ± 0,5 daN.m

Tighten the wheel bolts [info icon].
