Rear window eliminate leaks

Operation 7035B04 · Rear window

After ascertaining the lcoation of the leak, remove one of the internal components covering the rear window edge.

1. Wet with soapy water the external area where the leak occurs.

2. Blow compressed air from inside and identify the point of the leak.

If the leak is small, seal the relevant part from the inside and wait for the sealant to dry. Then repeat the test.

If the leak is more extensive, refer to op. 7035B12 Tailgate rearscreen (bonded type) WINDOW GLASS - R.R. - Includes. cleaning edges of glass and housing in tailgate

Refit the removed parts.
