REMOVING-REFITTING PETROL VAPOUR CUT-OFF SOLENOID

Follow the procedure below carefully to avoid breaking the solenoid during removal-refitting of mount bracket.

Removing

Insert a screwdriver between bracket and solenoid, push retaining tab down and remove solenoid.

Refitting

Ensure retaining tab protrudes by the correct amount (1 mm) from the sliding surface, fit solenoid to bracket and push home until it engages with the tab.
