Unlike previously described, it is no longer possible to register the steering box. In the event of sporadic noise (knocking) occurring, the steering box must be replaced.
On newly supplied steering boxes, as opposed to previous ones, a Loctite 648 sealant (locking type) has been applied to the adjustment ring in place of the previous Loctite 242 (retaining type).
The use of this type of sealant means that any attempt to perform an adjustment will result in the breaking or deformation of the ring.
