DESCRIPTION

On request, the car can be fitted with a car radio. The electrical system for this comprises the car radio (PHILIPS mod. DC 710/64S) with removable front, from which four cables emerge: (BN,RN) connected to the left loudspeaker (59) and (SN,NZ) connected to the right loudspeaker (58), both with 165 mm double cone and located in the front doors.

These cables branch to the dashboard and are connected to two tweeters, one on the left side of the dashboard (62) and the other on the right side of the dashboard (63).

Four other cables emerge from the car radio: (CN,CB) connected to the left loudspeaker (61), (AR,AG) connected to the right loudspeaker (60), both located at the back of the rear parcel shelf. These loudspeakers have 100 mm double cones.

The loudspeakers are connected via the connector (B) located at the rear of the car radio; the connector (C) is ready for a COMPACT DISC system located in the luggage compartment, controlled by the car radio front panel, while connector (D) is used for connecting an AMPLIFIER (if present). Another connector present on the rear is connector (A) used to connect the battery supply through the fuse (F10) located in the junction unit (7). This connector serves to connect the car radio via two cables (H,NZ) to the controls located on the steering wheel. These controls are for volume (min.- max.) (N,O), listening band (Q) and tuner (P) or programme selection.

A further cable emerges from the car radio and is connected to an aerial on the roof.
