1. Using the special tool (1a), release the tailgate inner panel (1c) from the retaining clips (1b).

1. Undo the two bolts fastening the tailgate interior panel assembly and grab handle to the actual tailgate.
1. Remove the tailgate inner panel.
Refitting
- Fit the tailgate inner panel.
- Tighten the two bolts fastening the tailgate interior panel assembly and grab handle to the actual tailgate.
- Attach the inner panel to the fastening clips.
