Removing

Op. 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2.0 16V JTD, 2.2 16V JTD

2.2 16V JTD

1. Undo the retaining bolts.

2. Remove the earth on the engine mount.

Op. 5010B18 CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT AIR INTAKE - R.R.

Op. 1048A10 AIR CLEANER FILTERING ELEMENT - REPLACE

1. Unscrew the connector on the electrohyraulic control unit

- Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

2. Release the pipe from the collar.

1. Unscrew the connector on the master cylinder.

2. Release the rigid pipe from master cylinder to electrohydraulic control unit and remove.

Refitting

- Fit the rigid pipe from master cylinder to electrohydraulic control unit.

- Tighten the connector on the electrohydraulic control unit to the specified torque.

- Tighten the connector on the electrohydraulic control unit to the specified torque.

2.2 16V JTD

- Tighten the retaining bolts.

- Fit the earth on the engine mount.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.

- Test the operation of the braking system.
