Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the accessory drive belt.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 1 - Charge air temperature sensor electrical connector 2 - Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector 3 - Intake air shutoff throttle electrical connectors 4 - Charge air cooler bypass pipe retaining clamp 5 - Intake air shutoff throttle intake pipe 6 - Intake air shutoff throttle retaining bolts 7 - Intake air shutoff throttle and intake manifold intake pipe 8 - Intake air shutoff throttle and intake manifold intake pipe O-ring seal 9 - Battery to generator cable electrical connector 10 - Generator electrical connector 14 - Air conditioning (A/C) compressor electrical connector 5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. | | -
Initialize the door window motors.

Using the special tool, detention the accessory drive belt tensioner. Remove the dowel and remove the special tool. | Item 13 : Generator upper front retaining bolt | | -
Raise and support the vehicle.

| Item 15 : A/C compressor retaining bolts | | -
Secure the A/C compressor to the radiator support bracket. | Installation Details Item 16 : Generator lower retaining bolts | | -
Loosely install the generator upper retaining bolts before tightening the generator lower retaining bolts. | Item 13 : Generator upper front retaining bolt | | -
Tighten the generator upper front retaining bolt. | Item 12 : Generator upper rear retaining bolt | | -
Tighten the generator upper rear retaining bolt. | Item 11 : Accessory drive belt tensioner | | -
Using the special tool reset the accessory drive belt tensioner to the detention position. - Rotate the tensioner clockwise.
