Remove the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

Remove the rear quarter trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

Detach the safety belt lower anchor from the floor panel. Locally detach the carpet to gain access to the bolt. Remove the bolt.

4. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 4 : Safety belt retractor

Remove the rear safety belt retractor. Remove the bolt. Lift the retractor to detach the locating tang.

CAUTION:Make sure the safety belt retractor locating tangs are correctly located.

Item 2 : Safety belt upper anchor

CAUTION:Make sure the safety belt upper anchor locating tang is correctly located.
