Torque Converter: Testing and Inspection
Torque Converter Housing - With CD4E
INSPECTION
1. Clean all parts thoroughly with solvent and dry with compressed air.
2. Inspect oil tube connector seal, final drive ring gear, and converter housing lug teeth for damage or excessive wear.
3. Inspect converter housing for stator support area wear, damage to sealing surfaces, hydraulic passage blockage, and differential bushing wear.
