15. Use O-Ring Tool T71P-19703-C to remove the forward clutch piston inner seal from the forward/coast/direct clutch cylinder assembly. Discard
the seal.

16. Remove the forward clutch piston outer lip seal. Discard the seal.
17. Separate the coast clutch piston assembly with integral seal from the forward clutch piston assembly.
18. Clean all parts thoroughly in a clean solvent and blow dry with moisture-free compressed air. To clean the clutch plates, wipe them off with a
lint-free cloth. New clutch plates should be soaked in the specified transmission fluid for 15 minutes before being assembled.
NOTE: The clutch plates should not be cleaned in a vapor degreaser or with any other type of detergent solution.
19. Inspect the parts for damage and wear:
