Using voltmeter check circuit 379 (BR/W) pin C1-3 at multi-function switch connector.
Is voltage B+?
YES
GO to DB5.
NO
REPLACE multi-function switch. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
DB5 - Check Circuit 379 (BR/W) For Voltage

Gain access to cornering lamp miniature bulb.

Disconnect miniature bulb as outlined.

Using voltmeter check circuit 379 (BR/W) for voltage. Is voltage B+?
YES
GO to DB7.
NO
GO to DB6.
DB6 - Check Circuit 379 (BR/W) For Short

Disconnect multi-function switch C1 connector.

Using an ohmmeter connected to a known good ground, connect second lead to multi-function switch connector pin C1-3, circuit 379 (BR/W).

Measure resistance.
Is resistance 5 ohms or less?
YES
SERVICE Circuit 379 (BR/W) for short. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE Circuit 379 (BR/W) for open. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
DB7 - Check Circuit 57 (BK)

Using an ohmmeter connected to a known good ground, connect second lead to Circuit 57 (BK) at bulb socket.

Measure resistance at each lamp socket
Is resistance 5 ohms or less?
YES
REPLACE damaged cornering lamp miniature bulb. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE Circuit 57 (BK) for open. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
