NO
CHECK circuit 123 (R) for open. If circuit is good, REPLACE keyless entry keypad. RETEST system.
BC12 - Check Keyless Entry Remote Transmitter

Press Unlock button on keyless entry remote transmitter.
Does illuminated entry turn on courtesy lamps?
YES
GO to BC15.
NO
GO to BC13.
BC13 - Check Keyless Entry Remote Transmitter, Doors Do Not Unlock

Repeat step BC12.
Do doors unlock?
YES
GO to BC14.
NO

Using a voltmeter, check for voltage on pin 5 circuit 296 (W/P) Town Car or circuit 54 (LG/Y) Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis into keyless
entry keypad.
Does voltage read B+?
YES
GO to BC16.
NO
SERVICE circuit 296 (W/P) Town Car or circuit 54 (LG/Y) Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis for open circuit. RETEST system.
BC16 - Check Keyless Entry Keypad Using Factory Code

Enter factory code on keyless entry keypad.
Do doors unlock?
YES
REPLACE driver door module. RETEST system.
NO
REPLACE keyless entry keypad. RETEST system.
BC17 - Check For Continuity

Disconnect connector C2 from driver door module.
