Does keypad light turn off after approximately 5 seconds?
YES
SYSTEM is operating normally.
NO
GO to BD5.
BD5 - Test Driver Door Module
-
Disconnect driver door module.
Does keypad light turn off?
YES
REPLACE driver door module. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE circuit 66 (LB) for short to B+. RETEST system.
BD6 - Test Driver Door Module B+ Supply

Check for voltage at driver door module connector pin C2-6 circuit 66 (LB). (Leave module connected and probe back of connector.)

Raise door handle.
Does voltage read B+ for approximately 5 seconds?
YES
GO to BD7.
NO
REPLACE driver door module. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
BD7 - Test Circuit 66 (LB)

Check for voltage at keyless entry keypad connector pin 6 circuit 66 (LB) of keyless entry keypad.

Raise door handle.
Does voltage ready B+ for approximately 5 seconds?
YES
GO to BD8.
NO
SERVICE circuit 66 (LB) for open circuit. RETEST system.
BD8 - Test Ground

Test circuit 57 (BK) into keyless entry keypad connector pin 3 for continuity to ground.
Is there continuity?
YES
REPLACE keyless entry keypad. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE circuit 57 (BK) for open circuit. RETEST system.
AA - No Communication With Lighting Control Module (LCM)
Pinpoint Test AA: No Communication With Lighting Control Module
AA1 - Check Circuit 195 (T/W) For Power

Disconnect lighting control module connector C3.

Using a voltmeter, measure for voltage at lighting control module connector Pin C3-6, Circuit 195 (T/W).
Is voltage B+?
YES
GO to AA5.
NO
GO to AA2.
