Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair
EVAPORATOR CORE ORIFICE

SPECIAL TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the evaporator core inlet spring lock coupling.

Discard the O-ring seals.

For a fixed orifice, carry out Steps 2 and 3.

For a broken orifice, carry out Steps 4 and 5.
2. Engage the special tool to the A/C evaporator core orifice, in the evaporator core inlet tube.
