15. Separate the electrical connector and wire harness pin-type retainers from the seat.
16. Separate the wire harness pin-type retainer from the seat.
17. NOTE: Seat with inboard side shield shown, seat without inboard side shield similar.
Remove the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Remove the bolt.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Separate the safety belt buckle and pretensioner.

Route out the wire harness and remove the safety belt buckle pretensioner.
18. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
19. Install the seat with the affected safety belt buckle pretensioner.
20. Repower the SRS.
21. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
