Window Regulator and Motor - Front Door

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to Window Glass - Front Door  See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and

Repair/Window Glass - Front Door.

2. If equipped, remove the window regulator motor. For additional information, refer to Window Regulator Motor - Front Door  See: Front Door

3. Using a drift, carefully remove the center pins from the rivets.

4. NOTE: Avoid enlarging the sheet metal holes in the door inner panel.

Using a 1/4-inch diameter drill, drill out the rivets attaching the window regulator lower bracket to the inner panel.

5. Remove the upper bracket nuts.

To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

6. Remove the window regulator.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
