Parking Brake Control

Removal and Installation

1. Release the parking brake cable tension. For additional information, refer to Parking Brake Cable Tension Release  See: Parking Brake

Cable/Service and Repair/Procedures.

2. Remove the steering column opening cover.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and position the Data Link Connector (DLC) aside.

4. Remove the instrument panel LH knee bolster assembly.

5. Remove the LH front door scuff plate.

6. Remove the hood release handle bezel from the LH A-pillar lower trim panel, then remove the LH A-pillar lower trim panel.
