13. Using a suitable rear axle companion flange holding too], remove the drive pinion shaft nut.

NOTE:  Index mark the rear axle companion flange to the pinion shaft.

14. Using the 2-Jaw Puller, remove the rear axle companion flange.

15. Remove the drive pinion.

Using a soft faced hammer and the Pinion Shaft Thread Protector, tap the drive pinion out of the pinion bearing cup and remove through the
rear of the axle housing.
