ROOF OPENING PANEL SLOW OR 
STICKING/BINDING OPERATION

ISSUE
Some 2007 Edge and MKX vehicles equipped with a roof opening panel and built before 8/1/2007 may experience a roof opening panel operating slow
or sticking. This may be caused by the roof opening panel guide tracks being out of specification.

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove roof opening panel guide track mechanism following Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-17.

2.

Remove both ditch moldings and clip strips. (Figure 1)

3.

Remove both side panel end caps. (Figure 2)
