Shift Cable: Adjustments
1. Position selector lever in D position against rearward stop. The shift lever must be held in the rearmost position during linkage adjustment.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Loosen manual lever to control cable retaining nut or adjusting bolt.
4. Position transmission manual lever at second detent from most rearward position. This is D position.
5. Torque attaching nut to 14-20 Nm (10-15 ft lb).
6. Lower vehicle and check for proper operation of transmission in each selector lever position.
