Removal and Installation
Upper and lower
1. Move the front seat to the full forward position.
2. NOTE: Position the shoulder safety belt guide to the lowest position.
NOTE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or the cover does not remain
closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.
Remove the shoulder safety belt guide cover.

Detach the top of the shoulder safety belt guide cover.

Rotate the shoulder safety belt guide cover 90 degrees and remove from the safety belt guide bolt.
3. Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide bolt.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
4. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the upper B-pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the upper
B-pillar trim panel before installing.
Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel.
1. Remove the bolt cover and bolt.

To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
2. Remove the upper B-pillar trim panel by pulling outward to release the clips.
