5. Remove the front and rear door scuff plates.

6. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the lower B-pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the lower

B-pillar trim panel before installing.

Pull outward to release the lower B-pillar trim panel clips and reposition the lower B-pillar trim panel.

7. Remove the front safety belt anchor bolt.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

8. Feed the safety belt through the lower B-pillar trim panel and remove.

Upper and lower

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

When installing the upper B-pillar trim panel, insert the safety belt guide slide into the upper B-pillar trim panel.
