3. Remove the A/C clutch and shims from the compressor shaft.
4. Remove the pulley snap ring.
5. Remove the clutch pulley and bearing from the compressor shaft.
6. Remove the A/C clutch field coil.

Position Shaft Protector on the nose opening of the compressor.

Use (A) Differential Side Bearing Puller to remove the (B) field coil.
CAUTION: Do not use air tools.
7. Clean the A/C clutch field coil mounting surface head.
