Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE:  Front door shown, rear door similar.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. If removing the front door latch, remove the door lock cylinder; refer to Lock Cylinder-Door.
3. Remove the door trim panel.

4. Remove the door latch remote control.

Remove the screws.

Disconnect the door latch remote control link from the door latch remote control.

Remove the door latch remote control.

5. Disconnect the door latch actuating rod from the door latch.

6. Remove the rear glass run channel.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the rear glass run channel.
