15. Position the shift cable bracket and install the bolts.
16. Rotate the manual control lever forward until travel stops. Then rotate the manual control lever back three detents to the (D) position.
17. NOTE: If installing a new shift cable, the shift cable adjustment lock is preset in the unlock position. Carry out this step only if reinstalling the
original shift cable.
Using a suitable tool, lift the lock tab on the shift cable adjustment lock. With the lock tab raised, push the shift cable adjustment lock outward to
the unlock position.
18. NOTE: The retainer clip on the shift cable will only slide into the bracket in one direction.
Connect the shift cable to the shift cable bracket.
