Explorer 2WD V8-4.6L VIN 8 (2006)
bulkhead connector is fully seated into the TCM.
9. Press up on the tab and lock the outer shell of the bulkhead electrical connector in place.
10. Install a new transmission fluid filter.
11. NOTE: The fluid pan gasket can be reused if not damaged.
Install the transmission fluid pan gasket if necessary.
12. Install the fluid pan and tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern.

Tighten to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
