Ford F 150 2WD workshop manuals

About the F-150

The F-150 is the half-ton model of Ford's F-Series pickups, introduced for 1975 and Ford's entry-level full-size pickup since the F-100 ended after 1983. For 1997 it was redesigned from the ground up with a new chassis, body and engine range, separate from the heavier F-250 and F-350, and it was redesigned again for 2004 and 2009.

What these manuals cover

• 1982–1986 (the seventh-generation truck): the 4.9-litre straight-six, the 5.0 and 5.8-litre V8s, and the 6.6-litre V8 in 1982.
• 1997–2008: the 4.2-litre V6 and the 4.6 and 5.4-litre Triton V8s, which replaced the old pushrod engines.
• 2011: the 3.5-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6.
• SVT Lightning: the 1993 sports truck with a 5.8-litre V8, and the 1999–2004 version with a supercharged 5.4.

Tip: the F-150 4WD manuals cover the same engines and bodies, and include 2007 and 2010 models that aren't listed here.
