1. Assemble the top and the bottom halves of the shifter together.

Item 6: Overdrive Cancel Button Installation Note 

1. Connect the overdrive cancel button electrical connector and install the clip.

Item 1: Shifter Knob Installation Note 

1. Install the shifter knob.

Pull out on the button of the shifter handle.

Install the spring on top of the lift rod inside of the shifter shaft.

While holding the button out, slide the handle down over the shaft to install the handle.

Slide the inner shroud up to lock the handle in place.

5

Slide the outer cover up.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
