Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.

2. Remove the LH inner fenderwell.

3. Remove and discard the 4 exhaust manifold-to-dual converter Y-pipe flange nuts.

4. Remove the 2 dual converter Y-pipe-to-exhaust pipe flange bolts.

5. Remove the 3 bolts and the LH exhaust manifold heat shield.

6. Remove the 8 nuts, the LH exhaust manifold and the 2 gaskets.
