F 150 4WD V8-4.6L VIN 8 (2010)
8. Remove and discard the 8 exhaust manifold nuts.
9. Remove and discard the 8 exhaust manifold studs.
10. Remove the RH exhaust manifold and the gaskets.

Discard the gaskets.
Installation
1. Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to Engine.
2. Position the new gaskets and the RH exhaust manifold.
3. Install 8 new RH exhaust manifold studs.

Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
4. Install 8 new exhaust manifold nuts finger-tight.
5. Tighten the 8 exhaust manifold nuts in the sequence shown.

Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
6. Position the A/C compressor and install the 3 bolts.

Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
7. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise and install the accessory drive belt on the A/C compressor.
8. Connect the dual converter Y-pipe to the exhaust manifolds and install 4 new nuts.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
9. Install the 2 dual converter Y-pipe-to-exhaust pipe flange bolts.

Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
