Setting pinion depth
5. CAUTION: Whenever the cups are replaced, the differential pinion beatings must also be replaced.
Make sure the cups are correctly seated in their bores.

If a feeler gauge of the specification shown in the illustration can be inserted between a cup and the bottom of its bore at any point around the
cup, the cup is not correctly seated.
6. NOTE: Apply only a light oil film on the pinion bearings before assembling the tool.
Assemble and position the Pinion Depth Gauge.
1. Position the Adapter for 205-S156.
2. Position the Drive Pinion Depth Gauge Aligner.
3. Position the Drive Pinion Aligner.
4. Position the Adapter for 205-S156.
5. Position the inner pinion bearing.
6. Position the outer pinion bearing.
7. Thread on the Adapter for 205-5127 (Handle).
