10. NOTE: Tighten the lower ball joint nut further, if necessary, in order to insert a new cotter pin.
Remove the lower ball joint nut and the front wheel spindle.

To install, tighten to 133 Nm (98 ft. lbs.).
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
12. Check and, if necessary, align the front end.
