About the F-350 4WD
The four-wheel-drive F-350 is the heaviest regular F-Series pickup. When the Super Duty range arrived for 1999, the four-wheel-drive F-350 became available with dual rear wheels for the first time. The Super Duty kept its 1999 frame design through the 2011 redesign, which brought new petrol and diesel V8s.
What these manuals cover
- 1982–1997: the 4.9-litre straight-six, the 5.8 and 7.5-litre petrol V8s, and the International 6.9 and 7.3 diesels, turbocharged by 1994.
- Super Duty, 1999–2007: the 5.4-litre V8, the 6.8-litre V10 (including CNG and bi-fuel versions), the 7.3 Power Stroke, and the 6.0 Power Stroke from 2003.
- 2008–2011: the 6.4-litre Power Stroke, and for 2011 the new 6.2-litre petrol V8.
Tip: the F-350 2WD manuals add the 2011 6.7 Power Stroke. The 6.0 diesel had head-bolt problems, and Navistar redesigned it in 2005–2006, so check which version your truck has.
