About the F-350
The F-350 is the one-ton F-Series truck, sold as a pickup with single or dual rear wheels and as a chassis cab for bodies such as flatbeds and tow trucks. Since 1999 it has been part of the Super Duty range, built at the Kentucky Truck Plant. The Super Duty was redesigned with new diesels for 2008 and again for 2011.
What these manuals cover
- 1982–1997: the 4.9-litre straight-six, the 5.8 and 7.5-litre petrol V8s, and the International 6.9 and 7.3-litre diesels.
- Super Duty, 1999–2007: the 5.4-litre V8, the 6.8-litre V10, the 7.3 Power Stroke and, from 2003, the 6.0 Power Stroke.
- 2008–2010: the 6.4-litre Power Stroke with twin sequential turbochargers.
- 2011: the 6.7-litre Power Stroke, the first diesel Ford designed and built itself for these trucks.
Tip: the E-350 van shares many of these engines, and the F-350 4WD manuals add the 2011 6.2-litre petrol V8.
