Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Standard preparatory measures
    • Place protective covers over the fenders.
    • Make a note of the radio keycode.
    • Make a note of the pre-set radio stations.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground lead.

  1. Remove the center console.
    • Unscrew the switch knob.
    • Unclip the shift lever boot.
    • Remove four screws (three shown).

  1. Remove the cooling system control unit.
    • Remove four screws (two shown, two on the rear).
    • Pull the control unit up and out.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Circuit diagram on the connector. Do not mix up the cables.
    Remove the refrigeration system control panel (continued).
    1. Undo the screws of the cable ties and pull out the cables.
    1. Unscrew the single screw.

Installation

  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
  1. Connect the battery ground lead.
  1. Standard finishing operations.
    • Enter the radio keycode.
    • Reprogram the radio stations.
    • Adjust the clock.
  1. Check that the cooling system operates correctly.
