Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:It will be necessary to raise the vehicle in order to carry out this procedure.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  1. Disconnect the auxiliary power supply cable.

  1. Disconnect the battery power cable.

  1. Disconnect the generator power cable.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Detach and disconnect the battery cable and starter solenoid electrical connector.

  1. Disconnect the battery power cable from the starter motor solenoid.
  1. Remove the battery cable.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
