Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the door glass top run. For additional information, refer to Section  501-11A Glass, Frames and Mechanisms / 501-11B Glass, Frames and Mechanisms.

  1. Disconnect the door handle actuator rod.

  1. Remove the door lock cylinder shield.

  1. Disconnect the door lock cylinder actuator rod.

  1. Disconnect and detach the door ajar electrical connector.

  1. Remove the door latch retaining screws.

  1. Detach the interior remote door handle release lever and remote cable.

  1. Disconnect the remote central locking actuator electrical connector and remove the latch.

Installation
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
