Wipers and Washers - Windshield Washer Reservoir Fiesta 1996 (08/1995-02/2002)
Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Unscrew the nuts on the A-pillar, working from the inside.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:There is no need to empty the coolant expansion tank.
    Detach the coolant expansion tank.
    • Remove the single screw.
    • Unhook the coolant expansion tank from its bracket.

  1. Pull off the filler neck.
  1. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Remove the wheelhouse cover (shown without wheel).

  1. Remove the washer reservoir.
    • Drain the reservoir by pulling off the hoses at the pump.
    • Remove the single screw.

  1. Remove the washer reservoir (continued).
    • Disconnect the plug.
    • Take out the washer reservoir.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:When inserting the reservoir check that the filler neck is correctly seated.
    Refit the components in reverse order.
  1. Lower the vehicle.
  1. Fill up the washer reservoir.
  1. Check the operation of the windscreen washer system
