Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly

  1. Open the folding roof to its full extent.
  1. Remove the headlining. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05A Interior Trim and Ornamentation / 501-05B Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. Remove the outer cover retaining screws from inside the vehicle.

  1. Remove the outer cover front runner guides.

  1. Detach the outer cover rear stops.

  1. Remove the outer cover.
    • Pull the outer cover forwards to disengage all the guide shoes.

Assembly
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Both sides of the outer cover must be square to the guides and fitted at the same time.
    Engage the outer cover rear guide shoes from the rear of the cassette.

  1. Push the outer cover forwards and attach the rear stops.

  1. Fold the outer cover backwards and engage the outer cover middle guide shoes.

  1. Engage the outer cover front guide shoes.
    1. Engage the guide shoes with the driver blocks.
    1. Push the outer cover backwards to engage the front guide shoes.

  1. Refit the outer cover front runner guides.

  1. Refit the outer cover retaining screws.
