Removal and Installation
Removal
Drain the air conditioning system. For additional information, refer to Section
412-00 Climate Control System - General Information
.
Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section
100-02 Jacking and Lifting
.
Disconnect the radiator fan resistor connector.
Disconnect the radiator fan connector.
Unclip the radiator fan from the left-hand clip.
Pull back the clip.
Press the radiator fan out of the clip.
Remove the radiator fan.
Pull back the clip.
Press the radiator fan out of the clip and remove it.
Remove the radiator bracket bolts (right-hand side shown).
Remove the security bolts.
Unscrew the bolts.
CAUTION:
Close off the refrigerant lines and the A/C condenser to prevent dirt from entering.
Detach the refrigerant lines from the condenser.
Discard the O-rings.
Detach the radiator and condenser from the front panel.
CAUTION:
Do not damage the foam seals of the condenser.
Remove the condenser.
Installation
CAUTION:
Do not damage the foam seals of the condenser.
NOTE:
Install new O-rings on the refrigerant lines.
NOTE:
Coat the refrigerant line O-rings with clean refrigerant oil before installation.
Reinstall the components in reverse order.
