1. Position the front door latch inside the door.

2. Connect the lock cylinder rod to the front door latch (if equipped).

3. Connect the front door latch to the 2 carrier assembly clips.

4. Loosely install all 3 front door latch screws.

Once all 3 screws are installed, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

5. Position the interior front door handle cable into the retaining clip.

6. Connect the door front latch actuator electrical connector.

7. Adjust the exterior door handle. For additional information, refer to Door Handle to Latch Rod Adjustment  See: Adjustments.

8. Reseal the watershield.

9. Install the front door trim panel.
