CAUTION:If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water. Loosen the wheel nuts. | | -
Disconnect the parking brake cable. - Pull back the parking brake lever.
- Disconnect the cable from the parking brake lever.
- Remove the conduit retaining clip.
- Remove the cable and conduit.

Loosen the brake hose. - Clamp the brake hose.
- Loosen the brake hose union.

Disconnect the caliper from the brake hose. - Cap the brake hose to prevent fluid loss and dirt ingress.
| Installation | -
Install the anchor plate. | | -
Loosely connect the caliper to the brake hose. | | -
CAUTION:As the pistons are retracted into the housing, brake fluid may be displaced from the master cylinder. Using the special tool, fully retract the caliper piston. | | -
NOTE:Make sure the brake pad springs are correctly located in the caliper. Install the caliper. | | -
Tighten the brake hose to the caliper. - Tighten the brake hose union.
- Remove the brake hose clamp.

Connect the parking brake cable. - Position the cable and conduit.
- Install the cable retaining clip.
- Pull back the parking brake lever.
- Connect the cable to the parking brake lever.
