206 Brake System Yaw Rate Sensor and Accelerometer: Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the right-hand front seat. For additional information, refer to Section  501-10 Seating.
  1. Remove the scuff plate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.
  1. Remove the B-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the rear scuff plate trim panel is detached from the B-pillar lower trim panel prior to removal.
    Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel.

  1. Locally detach the carpet.

  1. Detach the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer assembly from the floor panel.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The yaw rate sensor and accelerometer cannot be separated.
    Remove the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation

  1. WARNING:
    WARNING:Make sure the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer is correctly positioned. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
