Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the generator. For additional information, refer to Section  414-02 Generator and Regulator.

  1. Disconnect the KS electrical connector.
    1. Slide the retaining clip down.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  1. Detach the KS electrical connector from the oil level indicator tube.

  1. Remove the KS.

Installation
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure the KS does not touch the cylinder head or crankcase ventilation cover.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
