Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
    1. Unclip the cover.
    1. Twist off the gearshift lever knob. Take out the damping sleeves and compression spring.
    • Separate the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).

  1. Remove the center console.

  1. Detach the shift and selector cables from the gearshift lever.
    • Remove the cables by twisting the abutment collar counter-clockwise.

  1. Remove the shift mechanism.

Installation
  1. Refit the components in the reverse order.
  1. Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
