Wrench, Sender Unit, Fuel Tank

1. Remove the fuel tank.
   For additional information, refer to Tank-Fuel in this section.
   

2. Disconnect the fuel supply and return lines from the module.

3. Using the special tool, remove the locking ring.

4. 

   CAUTION:Make sure the float or arm are not damaged while removing the fuel pump module.
   Remove the fuel pump module.
   1. Rotate the module counterclockwise.
   2. Lift the module from the fuel tank.

5. Remove and discard the locking ring seal.

   NOTE:Make sure the arrows on the fuel tank and fuel pump module are aligned correctly.
   

   NOTE:Install a new locking ring seal and make sure it is seated correctly on the fuel tank.
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
